Felicity Aston finally at Union Glacier

Yesterday we got our first update from Felicity Aston's solo expedition through Antarctica.
"Felicity has finally spent her first night on the ice at Union Glacier base camp after a 10 day delay due to bad weather.
The journey to Antarctica from Punta Arenas, Chile takes around 4.5hrs and largely depends on the unpredictable weather both in Chile and at Union Glacier. Felicity was flown in by an Ilyushin Il-76 plane which has been specially modified to land on natural blue ice runways in Antarctica.
We await further news for the exact date that Felicity will be flown out to her starting point at the Leverett Glacier to begin her record breaking attempt."
